Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:8-10
As students, as children, as male and female we are pressured to be something or do something everyday. We have have to be strong, we have to be smart, we have to be considered beautiful or handsome. In short, we have to be perfect.
When we are weak, He will make us strong. When we don't understand, we trust that He will give us wisdom and direction. When we see ourselves as anything less than what He created, He is there is there to remind us that by His mercy He has made us clean, He has made us beautiful.
The world demands that we work to become perfect. Well we are not, and that's ok because we serve a God who is.
